/another win in the performing arts         webadvertising, one of Edinburgh's top ebusiness companies has just won the tender to develop a Dance website portal, for Glasgow Grows Audiences. GGA is an audience development agency with specialist knowledge in marketing, market research, training and the arts. The project is about a website portal dedicated to dance. By virtue of its provision of centralised information, this will be an additional resource for both the dance making community and for dance audiences. Among the services and resources this web initiative will make available: detailed event diaries of forthcoming events, workshops and classes, online ticketing and ecommerce. Dancers, choreographers, dance programmers and marketers as well as attendees for - and participants at dance events will be involved in the project. Benefits will include enhanced awareness of dance and dance events; increased access to these events; the provision of a centralised overview of dance activity in Glasgow; and a showcase for those working in dance.
